Yes! Our concentrates are non-toxic and is therefore safe for use around pets as well. Our products are very popular in the Pet and Vet industries. You can use any of our concentrates with great peace of mind.

That said, it should be noted that the following concentrates in our range do contain Eucalyptus and/or Lavender essential oils, and cats may find it offensive:

• Lavender
• Stress Relief
• Floral lift
• Breathe easy

It is known that Lavender plants are on the list of plants that cats do not find attractive or tasty and are known to avoid. Some plants emit odours that cats find offensive and plants often recommended to gardeners for keeping cats away include lavender, rue, rosemary, and pennyroyal. Lavender, in moderation, is safe for your cat.

The Eucalyptus plant or ‘Eucalyptus Pure essential oil’ could be harmful to cats if eaten or inhaled in a highly concentrated form. Although our concentrates contain these essential oils, the concentrations are fairly low, and it is diluted even further when added to the water in the bowl of your revitaliser. You would only use 5-10ml of our concentrate in the bowl of more then 1000ml of water, which means that the concentration of actual essential oil that is released would be very very low.

We would however recommend that you do not close the door and windows while your cats are inside, this would allow your cats to leave the room should they find a fragrance to be offensive.

Fortunately, we still have a few other concentrates to choose from if you want to avoid those containing Lavender and Eucalyptus completely. If you would like to control the odours from your cats litter box, for example, we would recommend using Nature Fresh.

Do no use any hot water or detergents either when cleaning your revitaliser bowl, only use cold tap water.

Beautiful Aromas concentrates do not mask odours, but remove them and release clean, fresh, essential oil based fragrances. Removing pollution from the air leaves more oxygen to breathe which provides better sleep, increased energy and improved concentration. The revitaliser filters 75m² of single volume air per hour to remove:

Yes, you may but you will not enjoy the additional health benefits from the essential oils or the added bonus of a fresh, revitalising fragrance if you do not use it with a Beautiful Aromas concentrate.

Clean air cannot be obtained from a dirty unit and since the water acts as the filter medium of this purification system, it remains very important to replace the water on a regular basis.

We recommend that you replace the water once every 24 hours. Discard the dirty water and wipe the bowl clean with a paper towel after rinsing it with cold water. DO NOT place the bowl in a dishwasher or use hot water. DO NOT use abrasives or cleaning agents. Fill the bowl with clean cold water as per the instructions and add 5-10ml of your favourite concentrate to enjoy a breath of well-being.

We recommend a dosage of 5-10ml per application, but this can be adjusted in accordance with room size and personal preference. Use less (for example in a baby’s room) for a more subtle fragrance or more (in a larger area) for optimal effect.

Clean air cannot be obtained from a dirty unit. Wipe the bowl clean on a daily basis when replacing the water. The funnel that extends into the water can be clicked off once a week (turn it gently in an anti-clockwise direction) and rinse and/or use an ear bud to wipe the shaft inside. We recommend giving your complete revitaliser a thorough cleansing every few months by removing the lid and motor housing and even cleaning the inside of the unit as well.
